From the President of the United States to Los Angeles' neighborhood councils, people are coming together to revitalizae the L.A. River. This project is part of a collaborative effort to transform the L.A. River's 51 miles into a continuous greenway of open space, native habitat, walking and biking trails.
The L.A. River Greenway Trail Project is a vital part of the river renaissance in the San Fernando Valley and is creating a new precedent for native habitat restoration along the L.A. River.

Community Conservation Solutions has raised over $2 million in public funds
for the L.A. River Greenway Trail Project.
- Bridge the Gap Create three miles of river trail by linking existing trail segments
- Create Public Access Open a closed section of the L.A. River to the public
- Restore Native Habitat Plant over 4,000 native trees, shrubs and plants
